20 guests' feedbackThe house is really nice and has a great view. Also well equipped. Really safe so no worries. Nice place to relax with family or group of friends. One recommendation: the last bit of sand road was a bit rough, so just take it easy and you will be fine.
Beautiful house. It was a bit difficult to access the beach though.
We had a very nice stay. It is well appointed with everything you will need. It's almost like you have your own private beach. I suggest they do get a kettle that can be used on the gas plate during load shedding.

Shamrock is fully equipped and has fantastic views. The sunsets are spectacular and the beaches are accessible. Buy everything you need at Kareedouw's butcher shop and switch off your car for the rest of your holiday. The paddock also has wood, water, milk, fruit, pies, wine etc. and is about 7 km away on the dirt road. You will find it difficult to book a better place.
You will be hard pressed to find a better view and area. Lit the fireplace and only heard the waves break. Amazing place!

The view, the view you can just look out over the sea all day long from this beautiful home which is equipped with everything you need. We had a wonderful stay here and rested well.
9/10. Loved everything. The only drawback is the long gravel road from the padstal to Eersterivier. Not a very comfortable drive which made us a bit wary to explore the area as planned.
It's a lovely place with everything one needs. Even if you have to take your own DStv and map with you, we didn't even miss it, because there is a lot to do - and well, you can watch the sea all day. This house is built almost on top of the sea. People who have small children should be careful and if you can take something like that with you, take hurdles with you, because there are a lot of stairs. We would go back again any day.
Very pleasant stay, fully equipped with anything you would need. Wonderful location, private and pleasant service received from The Farmhouse where the keys were collected.
I feel that the bedding and linen should be replaced - it is old and tired. Carpets in bathrooms and around toilets is very unhygienic. We would have liked more dish clothes, I would have like to have been told that I must bring toilet paper, dish washing pills and sunlight liquid. Having said the above, we still had a wonderful time in this beautiful location.
It was really really nice and the location is amazing, but the flies drove us crazy.
Why should an additional cleaning fee be paid? At R2850 per night it should be included in the price. You pay for a clean housing unit after all. I'm just asking and I'm sure there are other people who wonder too.
Shamrock Cottage is a holiday destination that we will definitely consider again in the future. The location is excellent and the house has everything you need for a holiday. All accessories and equipment were in working order, but unfortunately some items in the kitchen had clearly not been washed very clean. We found it necessary to rinse and/or wash most items before we could use them. Overall we would definitely recommend Shamrock to anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful holiday with excellent 180 degree sea views.
Beautiful location and nice accommodation.
The house is very tidy and has everything you need, even an iron! Penny was very helpful when we collected the keys. The house's location is unbeatable and the view breathtaking! Safety is not an issue.
It was truly an experience to stay on the beach so to speak! A fantastic view and a place to stay equipped beyond expectations. Everything that was needed and more! It's just a shame our stay was so short, but will definitely make it longer next time. Will definitely recommend this to family and friends.
